Summer Soaks

Summer Soaks

Posted by Sam Sheppard on May 18th 2021

Some might consider our CBD bath salts purely a “winter thing”, but that is absolutely not the case! Customers have made our salts part of their weekly (or even daily) routine, whether for the treatment of sore and achy muscles; general relaxation; seasonal congestion and now as we move into sunnier and warmer days; relief from sunburn.

You may have noticed the transition from coarser grains of salt to finer granules in our CBD bath salts. The finer salts dissolve more rapidly in water and also the resulting increase in surface area allows for a more consistent and even distribution of oils, extracts, (and essential oils in the scented salt versions). Also, as bath temperatures show an inverse relationship to outdoor temperatures, the finer salt dissolves more readily in cooler water.

I found the bath salts absolutely indispensable during last summer’s hot and smoky days. Every day post-work, I would immediately draw a tepid bath and pour 4-6 ounces of Lavender or Eucalyptus CBD infused bath salts to remove the smoke and to sooth my spirits.

I invite you to try a restorative soak the next time you feel worn out and frazzled due to the heat (and let’s hope for a smoke and fire free summer!)
